¶ I denne bog har xylografen F. Hendriksen (1847-1938) samlet oplysninger om de kunstnere, han fra ungdommens dage sluttede sig til, og hvis værker han på flere måder bidrog til at gøre kendt i brede kredse. Han var stifter af 'Forening for Boghaandværk' og var leder af den i 1893 oprettede Fagskole for Boghaandværk.
