¶ Biography on S. A. Andrée - the man who died with his cruew trying to reach the North Pole in the balloon named "The Eagle" in 1897. This book is not so common. With a dedication inside front board from "the auhtor". Large 8vo, sewn as issued (softbound). Small tears to boards, but very good for this fragile book. Cover illustrated with "The Eagle" in it´s depart for the North Pole.
