¶ Bring 817. Schiötz I 1048d. Första svenska upplagan. Bayard Taylor [1825-1878] var amerikansk diplomat som besökte Norden 1856. Boken kom först ut i New York 1858. Enligt Schiötz är den svenska översättningen trologen gjord efter den tyska upplagan som kom ut 1858. Resan genom Väster- och Norrbotten beskrivs på 114 sidor.
