Kjent som Recherche-ekspedisjonen, etter ekspedisjonens skip La Recherche. Litografiets motiv ble tegnet da deler av ekspedisjonen var på reise gjennom Finnland, Russland, Tyskland, Danmark og Øst-Europa 1839-1840. *** Some browning on the edges. The motive for the lithography was drawn when parts of the expedition went on a journey through Finland, Russia, Germany, Denmark and Eastern Europe 1839-1840.
