The text and title are considerably larger than the plates in this copy. Unbound. The plates are taken out of a former binding. The text and title have large margins and have probably never been bound. The text is foxed and the title has a couple of brown spots. The margins of the text and title with some creases and small tears. Dog eared. The plates are partly soiled and have some brown spots, mostly in the margins. A few plates with minor tears and damages to the margins. Plate 22 with a longer tear (not into the image area) and some creasing. ¶ In translation the title reads "Mammals of Scandinavia". The book depicts many Scandinavian mammals for the first time. Magnus Körner also published "Skandinaviska Foglar" in 1839-1846.
