Title in gilt at the spine and the front board. Spine compartments decorated in red and gilt. Top of spine damaged. Top of front board faded. Some wear to the corners. Small paper loss to the front end paper. A couple of plates and text pages with a little spoting. Clean copy.
¶ The book depicts famous people of the thirty year war, from a swedish pespective. Forty portraits and an interior showing the signing of the peace of Westpahlia. The plates printed by A. J. Salmson.
