The plates are in nice condition. ¶ Beautiful plates depicting the swedish king Gustavus I and his contemporaries in the 1500s, for example Elisbeth I, Henry VIII and Kristian II. Each plate is tinted and very nicely hand coloured. This copy has two extra hand coloured plates which are not called for in the bibliographies - the exterior and interior of Gripsholms Slott.
