¶ A swedish lithographic incunable. The first commercial lithographs were printed in Sweden in 1818. This year several loose prints were made, as well as illustrations to the famous fashion magazine "Konst och nyhets magasin" which was published as a testing ground for lithography. The current book, printed in 1819, might actually be the first swedish book containing a lithograph. The other candidate to the "first" title is "Spanien och Portugal" by Breton, a swedish translation from the french, and containst three hand colored lithographs.
