Grey paper cover with title and a small oval photograph mounted at the front. Bound with an original string to hold the album together. Faded covers, especially at the back. Cover with a couple of stains, tears to the margins and dogs ears. Interior in very nice condition. ¶ A tourist album of Budapest showing a beautiful and lively city of the 1920s. The river with its bridges, the main streets, monumental buildings, the royal palace, the parliament etc. The captions at the photographs are in hungarian and french.This copy was a gift from the Hungarian YMCA to the Swede Karl Fries in 1922, according to an inscription inside the front cover.
