Djurgården is a large park area near the centre of town famous for its amusements, cafees, resaturants and beauty. These former royal hunting grounds has been the most popular picknik spot in Stockholm for centuries. Carl Johan Billmark Sweden´s most famous lithographic artist made the drawing as a part of the work "Stockholms Pittoreska Omgifningar" (The Picturesque Environs of Stockholm) containing 29 lithographs in all.
