Title stamped in gilt on front cover. A bit worn binding with a few stains. Front iInner hinge detached, back inner hinge almost detached. Inscription on the title page. Interior in unusally fine condition.
¶ An illustrated book telling the story of the bible in 24 plates. Several motifs to each plate. Scarce. A second edition with 12 plates only, was published in 1858.
