It remained the standard-edition for nearly 200 years. Its Greek text is based on the Basel-edition (Editio princeps of 1533, with corrections) and the Latin text which accompanies the Greek on the same page, is for the most part that of Commandino. - "As an edition of the whole of Euclid's works, this stands alone, there being no other in Greek."
