¶ First edition. Konrad Zuse, a German engineer, built the world's first large-scale automatic digital computer (the Z3 in 1941), and was the first develop a high-level programing language (the 'Plankalkül') for computers. Zuse had developed his programming language already in 1945, but due to the war conditions this work, as so much more, remained unkown to the public. In this paper Zuse gives the first description of the Plankalkül. Not in Origins of Cyberspace.
