Till denna upplaga hör Argillanders uppsats "Försökt sätt, at lära dumbar läsa och tala", som kommer sist i boken.

Askelund var verksam 1794-1842. Ett mycket attraktivt exemplar. Försättsblad med två namnteckningar.

Interior with some faint, very occasional foxing, one page slightly creased at lower corner, else fine. Joseph Friedrich Enderlin (1732-1808) was born in Bötzingen, Baden, and later on studied botany, mathematics and physics at the University in Jena. Enderlin is considered one of the first in Germany to approach the topic of forestry from a scientific point of view. This is is the first edition of a rare and seminal work, which was published in a second edition in 1770. An attractive copy of this rare, seminal work on the scientific foundations of forestry.

Boards quite heavily soiled and rubbed, corners bumped, spine ends chipped and torn, spine with two ca 5 cm tears at rear joint. Endpapers quite heavily soiled, title leaf with owner's signature, some pages slightly creased at corners, page 203 with triangular paper loss at upper corner (possibly also with minor text loss) measuring ca 5 x 2 cm, pages 205-210 with ca 1,5 cm tear at upper edge. Ferenc Xavér Szuhányi (1742-1824) was a Hungarian Jesuit monk and theologian. This is a work on a variety of theological topics, which, in the form of dialogues between a Cosmophilus and a Theophilus, deals with questions ranging from the exorcism of demons and the existence of Antichrist to whether miracles are possible or not and a variety of other topics. Scarce.

Interior with some faint, occasional foxing, endpaper with small dampstain at upper edge, page 136 with one ca 2,5 cm tear at the fore-edge. A presentable copy of a very scarce title.

Galerie Danthon 1929. (8) pp. + 3 mounted plates (of which one is in colour). Original printed wrappers, plates loose (as issued?). Spine a bit worn but overall very good. Henry Valensi (1883-1960), visionary artist. He was an active member of the Puteaux Group, exhibited alongside Marcel Duchamp, Fernand Léger and the Cubists Albert Gleizes and Jean Metzinger in the famous “Section d’Or” (Golden Section) exhibition in 1912. Later he became one of the creators of the Musicalist movement. Loosely added to this copy is an invitation card to the exhibition.
