The image/colour collage is a graphic reflection of the image-sound-light performance created by the architects, Jean Petit and Edgar Varese. Minor rumpling and damp stain in lower corner of text leaves and some plates. A comprehensive collection of designs for wooden doors, windows, stairs, framework façades, balconies, canopies, oriels, turrets and wooden ornamentation. One of the last publications prepared by this German Gothic Revival architect and teacher. The publications and teachings of Georg Ungewitter (1820-1864) aimed to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and precision, and his finely detailed Gothic columns, windows and canopies would become mainstream only a generation later.

Exterior lightly smudged, the price-list slightly dampstained in top margin; a few plates at the beginning and the end have minor wrinkling and stains at corner or top margin. Substantial and attractive large-format catalogue of coloured wall frieze and ceiling decorations provided by the Dresden firm Krey und Sommerlad.

Enclosed is an inserted handwritten letter (35 lines) from Balle to Hellman, and four leaves with original linocuts (ca 24x11), three of them signed "Mogens Balle 1959" on reverse, lightly stained but all but one in margin only. In the letter the artist discusses a forthcoming exhibition for which Gunnar Hellman shall write the catalogue introduction, and the enclosed linocuts are suggestions for illustrations in the catalogue.
