Nice copy of a scarce book on the German mediaeval cathedral builders, as well as an interesting assocation copy. A leading Swedish Gothic Revival architect, Helgo Zettervall (1831-1907) is best remembered for his restorations of mediaeval churches and other buildings according to his ideas of the ideal Gothic or Romanesque edifice.

A translation of a work first published in French, revised and extended by the translator.
